TUNGNATH is third Temple of Panch Kedar.One such temple is Tunganath, which is known for being one of the highest Shiva temples in the world and is located among the magnificent Tunganath Mountains. It is thought that Adi Sankacharya made the discovery. Additionally, according to tradition, this is the location where Lord Rama meditated in order to be freed from the Brahmahatya curse for killing Ravana. Only a few months are dedicated to having the temple open to visitors. The summer months are often when pilgrims travel to the temple; nevertheless, it closes its doors at the end of October. Therefore, Lord Shiva relocated to Makkumath Temple during the winter.
