is believed that the severed head of Lord Ganesha is enshrined in the temple. The Ganesh idol present here is called Adiganesh. There are four pillars in this cave which represent the yugas - Satyuga, Tretayuga, Dwaparayuga and Kaliyuga. There is no change in the pillars of the first three sizes, but the pillar of Kali Yuga is more in length. Another special thing about this cave is that there is a Shivling here which is continuously growing, it is believed that when this Shivling touches the roof of the cave and then the world will end. Char Dhams can also be visited simultaneously in the cave. It is believed that Kedarnath, Badrinath, Amarnath can be seen simultaneously in the cave.
