NARAYAN ASHRAM is also locally known as "Bangba" or "Chaudas". This ashram was established in 1936 by a monk and social worker "Narayan Swami". The land for Narayan Ashram was given to Swamiji by Late Kushal Singh Hyanki of “Sosa” and some surrounding plots were bought from the people of Sosa. Many gardens and parks have been planted by Swami ji in this place.People from mythological villages gather near Narayan Ashram during Guru Purnima and Janmashtami. Guru Purnima is celebrated to pay homage to all the gurus and teachers of the world and Janmashtami is celebrated to mark the birth of the Hindu god Shri Krishna. Free food is provided to the people at Narayan Ashram on the occasion of Guru Purnima.
