HARIDWAR - BHIMGONDA TANK
BHIMGONDA TANK located near Har-ki-Pauri, is a major tourist attraction of Haridwar. Bhimgoda Kund temple is also built near this kund, which is very ancient. It is said that the Pandavas meditated here by keeping a Rudraksh and 11 Shivlings emerged from that Rudraksh. This place is also known as Bhimgoda Barrage (Bhimgoda Barrage), Bhimgoda Weir, Bhimgoda Head Works or Bhimgoda Tank. It is also called Gupt Ganga. There is also Bhim Goda Kund in Haridwar. It is said that when the Pandavas were going to heaven, it was here that Bhima kneeled on the ground at the behest of Shri Krishna, due to which this pond was formed.

Bhimgonda Tank is a sacred tank located at a walking distance from Har ki Pauri in Haridwar. The tank is named after Bhim, the second of five Pandavas.
